Monday evening, Oct. 20th, another beautiful fall day. I can’t believe it’s almost November though.
Last Sunday Carol Wise and I visited Ann Collins.
Janet Smith visited with me a while Monday evening.
Lois Riley sold her place and moved to Mountain Grove, the former Robin Stout bought it.
Dwayne Sparks had a collision with a deer recently, it did quite a bit of damage to his pickup. The deer are really abundant this year and I’ve been told so are acorns, so be careful when you are driving at dusk and dawn.
I enjoyed seeing KY3 television in Ava Friday at noon and I saw my granddaughter too, Hannah Griffith, she was in the band.
Corine Rodges celebrated a brithday on Saturday and I understand she was honored at a surprise birthday party.
Ann Collins and I got out and went to church at Prior Sunday. Not many there, but we had good services. After church we took 76 down to Denlow ate lunch there and then went on 76 to Ava and then came down 5 to N and visited a while with Ada Beard. The prettiest sight was at Brushyknob. Guess the leaves will get more colorful later.
I’ll sign off for now, God bless and take care.
