August 17th, a very nice cool August morning, can’t believe this weather we’ve had this summer.
Joe and Belinda Heath got back home last week after spending some time in Colorado and Wyoming.
Sharon Driskell visited me Monday morning of last week then Beverly Emery visited with me one afternoon.
Most of the schools in this area started on the 12th, but I think Dora school starts this Thursday. It always seems lonesome to see the old yellow school buses start going.
Well, I don’t have much news this morning. Patty is on her way down to take me for my protime test so I better get ready.
Ann Collins and I visited a while with Karen and Ted Collins Saturday evening.
Carol Wise, Riley O’Shea, Nina and the baby visited Sunday with Ann Collins.
After they had a dinner Sunday at the Gentryville Church, several were baptized at he Brush Creek Bridge. Sirena, Jonah, Cole and Isabell were among them.
Be sure and keep the sick in your prayers, Wayne Anderson especially, also, those who’ve lost loved ones recently.
