Monday morning, December 7th, was a crisp, frosty morning. I had 30 degrees here on the hill. It was also Pearl Harbor Day.
I just came home late Saturday, I had been in Moberly since Thanksgiving. Tracy, David, Hannah, Devin and I, Debbie Hutchison, Eric and Shelby Campbell all enjoyed Thanksgiving with Jamie, Devin, Bailee, Lauryn and Hayden Snodgrass. Then I stayed for an extended visit with Debbie and Shelby, who brought me home Saturday and spent the night.
Ann Collins spent Friday and Saturday nights in Mountain Grove with Carol Wise. They went with several from the bank on a trip to Branson Friday night and saw a show, ate and then on Saturday night they went to the Christmas Parade at Mountain Grove.
Chris Hartzell and Myron Jackson visited Wednesday with Ann Collins.
Shelby put my Christmas tree up Saturday night. Don’t think I’ve ever had one up this early.
Having a belated Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday the 28th with Karen and Doug Fredrick were Bertha and Dean Scherer, Janet and Katlyn Smith, Darion Fredrick, Jonah and Sirena Melton, Cole and Isabell Bradshaw.
Doug and Karen Fredrick, Cole and Izzy Bradshaw went to the Mountain Grove parade Saturday night.
I talked to Beverly Emery, she is feeling better. She had a bronchial and sinus infection. They had their Christmas program at Victory Church last night and she went.
Get-well wishes to all the sick, and my condolences to those that have lost loved ones.
