On this Sunday evening the last day of January, I’ll try and write some news. This month has passed so fast it’s scary.
Don’t put your winter coat away just yet, heard where the high Wednesday will be in the 30’s.
We lost our our sister, Agnes Williams, this past week. She passed at Willow Care. She had a beautiful service Thursday evening and was buried at the Hurst Cemetery. Most of the family went to Karen and Doug’s for the evening meal. Neighbors had brought in food. We appreciate one and all.
Linda and George Owens of Bristow, Oklahoma came in for the funeral and stayed with Linda’s mom, Ann Collins, until Sunday. Other visitors in Ann’s home were Ted and Karen Collins on Saturday evening and Carol Wise of Mtn. Grove spent Saturday night.
Debbie and her daughters, Jamie and Shelby, of Moberly had to leave from the funeral, also, Patty did too, but Tracy and David went down to Karen’s with me.
Beverly Emery and Sharon Driskell visited with me Friday evening.
Sheila and Rufina Folwell of West Plains visited Sunday with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
Sorry to hear of the passing of Jermone Massey, deepest sympathy to his family. Also the family of the little boy in Mountain Grove.
Carol Wise visited me a while this morning.
Doug and Karen Fredrick drove to Mountain Home Sunday and visited Nita Fredrick and her mother, Marge.
Birthday greetings this month to Norma Griffith and Ted Collins the 14th, Devin Snodgrass and Pat Daugherty the 26th.
“when you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it,” – Opray Winfrey.
Until next time, take care and God bless.
